Rhone Capital Buys Fogo de Chao, Business Solution for the Gun Problem and Complimentary Tickets Available for Broadway Play Starring Nathan Lane

Good Morning,

We have an Entrepreneur Briefing today so this will be fast.

Daylight – M&A market is red-hot and the talk of the town all week has been Rhone Capital paid a 25 percent premium for Fogo de Chao. With all-you-can-eat meat diet trend, we could have seen this coming. The deal is valued at $560 million.

Culture – In number of stores, the company has a big footprint in US, but a tiny international presence. However, they got a premium price by selling the future of international sales.  Management opened a couple of stores in Mexico and the Middle East and sold the Rhône Capital – “with your broad global view and leadership” see what we can be.

Economics – These guys are good at upselling. I know your $49.00 all-you-can-eat buffet winds up $150.00 – especially if you a have broad perspective on the Paleo diet.

M&A – The Adecco Group acquired Vettery, a hiring marketplace, for $100 million.

Two big U.S. hospital networks, Bon Secours Health System and Mercy Health, have agreed to merge, amid a surge in deal-making in the industry.

Style – Premieres tomorrow tonight February 23 at Neil Simon Theatre, Broadway. We have complimentary member tickets for March 6 and 7. Please let us know.
